Research
The research work is focused mainly on the study of elementary and reactive processes in the low temperature and chemically active plasma, including applications, by help of various arrangements and methods.
Major research interests
- development of diagnostics methods (Langmuir probes, optical spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy), convenient for low-temperature and chemically active plasma
- study of elementary processes (reaction ion-molecule, recombination, relaxation processes, etc.)
- study of active discharges from point of view of elementary and transport processes both experimentally and by help of computer simulations
- study of the chemically active plasma applicable to the various technologies
Arrangement
Four laboratories are working in the group:
- Laboratory of elementary processes in plasma - EPP - Juraj Glosík
- Laboratory of plasma chemistry - Milan Tichý
- Laboratory of processes in discharges - Věra Hrachová
- Laboratory of computational physics - Rudolf Hrach
