A reference magnetic field database for BMSW data via machine learning methods

Anotace:

In this project, we will use machine learning methods to establish a reference magnetic field dataset for BMSW1 data. The BMSW is a solar wind monitor onboard the Russian Spektr-R spacecraft2, which was launched on July 18, 2011. A plasma monitor is usually most effective when paired with magnetic field data, but this spacecraft did not provide magnetic field data. Therefore, we will establish a reference magnetic field dataset to support the BMSW data. The reference dataset will be built up via a machine learning model using the L1 observations as input.
