Magnetospheric Response to Solar Activity, September 9-12, 2003, Charles University, Prague

Call for contributions

The conference presentation will be a mixture of invited and solicited lectures, oral contributions, and posters:

  • - Invited lectures (25 minutes) bringing broad and deep surveys of recent results in the fields listed above.
  • - Solicited contributions (20 minutes including discussion)
  • - Oral contributions (15 minutes including discussion).
  • - Majority of contributions will be scheduled into two afternoon poster sessions. The presenters are asked to prepare one transparency summarizing major results for a poster survey. The dimensions of poster boards are 150 cm (height) and 100 cm (width).

Award ceremony, 2000
Medals of Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University will be awarded to several distinguished scientists for their contributions to the development of space research at the faculty.
Prizes for the best poster presentation will be awarded to several young scientists on the decision of the scientific committee.
Free for all registered participants, 300 CZK (10 EUR) for accomp. persons.
Coffee, tea, and beverages during breaks and poster sessions are free for all participants and accompanying persons.

The information booth with a possibility to book individually theater tickets, excursions to Prague or near surroundings, etc. will be open from Monday to Wednesday for participants and accompanying persons at the registration desk during registration hours.
